Cloudatcost sometimes offers coupons for 50% off their prices. So last friday the offered again the 50% coupon, and I got myself a developer 3 package.

Split it up by using cloudPRO into on docker ubuntu server. But infact, the better option would have been just to use the normal ubuntu image,as docker bound with ubuntu is quite old.

root@ubuntu:~# docker version
Client version: 1.0.1
Client API version: 1.12
Go version (client): go1.2.1
Git commit (client): 990021a
Server version: 1.0.1
Server API version: 1.12
Go version (server): go1.2.1
Git commit (server): 990021a
root@ubuntu:~# apt-get remove docker.io

Then install docker

curl -sSL https://get.docker.com/ubuntu/ | sudo sh

Which results in

root@ubuntu:~# /usr/bin/docker version
Client version: 1.7.1
Client API version: 1.19
Go version (client): go1.4.2
Git commit (client): 786b29d
OS/Arch (client): linux/amd64
Server version: 1.7.1
Server API version: 1.19
Go version (server): go1.4.2
Git commit (server): 786b29d
OS/Arch (server): linux/amd64

Then install mule docker

root@ubuntu:~# docker run codingtony/mule

In another terminal add a new user, add to sudo group, change

root@ubuntu:~# adduser patrick
root@ubuntu:~# mkdir /home/patrick
root@ubuntu:~# sudo adduser sudo
root@ubuntu:~# sudo chsh -s $(which zsh) patrick

Then I followed pretty much following tutorial, to get my first mule ESB: http://www.ivankrizsan.se/2015/01/18/mule-esb-in-docker/
